GRADUATION AND BACCALAUREATE EVENTS:

 

1)        There will be a MANDATORY practice for all Seniors on TUESDAY,  May 19 at 12:30 p.m.

in the CCHS gymnasium.  Please note: Seniors who do not attend practice, will not be walking

in the graduation ceremonies. 

 

During the practice, Seniors will be given their cap and gown and procedures for all three

events will be reviewed.  A handout will also be distributed to Seniors that will offer details

of dress code, arrival time, etc. Mr. Healy, Mr. Carpenter & Mr. Belk will address the Seniors

at this time.

 

2)        Seniors are also invited to participate in the many ministries for Baccalaureate Mass.  A sign-up

has been placed on the Campus Ministry board.  Students will meet with MJ Dawson to review

and practice at St. Matthew Church immediately following the graduation practice.  This avoids

the confusion of practice before the ceremony with families arriving, etc. 

 

3)        Remember to mark your calendars for the three (3) main events

May 27 - Baccalaureate Mass at St. Matthew at 5:00 pm

Special reception will follow in the gym and parish center

 

May 29 - Awards ceremony & Senior Video in the Chapel at 12:00 pm

Followed by a special Senior lunch

 

May 30 - Graduation at Bojangles Coliseum at 11:00am

The traditional “hat toss” is outside immediately follow the ceremony
